Off to the mountain biking on Sunday. The essex website states:

"Park-and-cycle facilities will be provided approximately four kilometres from the venue."

Can't actually find out where these facilities are, anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

We're going to use the park and ride at Case tractors in Braintree. You have to book it online via the link from the Olympic website to First. Once you've paid you get emailed a pass to stick in your windscreen. I think it would probably be a bad move to turn up without having paid for a space.

Thanks for the info. The Park and Cycle mentioned on the essex legacy site is still a mystery though. I can't find the parking locations 'four km from the venue'.

Riding home this evening, I noticed they've set up a park & ride at the New Holland tractor plant in Basildon. Maybe this is the site they're on about?

Surely that can't be right? Braintree's the other end of the county!

Sorry, Basildon, Braintree, all the same to me. 😳
Lucky I put the postcode in the sat nav or we'd have a long bus ride!
