I'm after a replacement for my Stiffee as I can't use the Reverb I've now become dependent upon.....There aren't too many 30.9 seat tube hardtails out there apart from this and the Crush. Has anybody got one? I'd have liked a Soul or BFe, but I'm not getting another Reverb!

Soul is too small, BFe's are 31.6. I don't think there's a shim that does 30.9/31.6?

I have one, which replaced a Stiffee a year ago...
Not as slack as the Cove, but with a shorter stem, I dont notice it.
I had 36 TALAS on when first built, but now I have the lot lighter Rev Races. Both worked really well at 150mm with the frame.
Low bottom bracket adds stability but I do pedal strike a lot more.
The paintwork is a step above Cove although one of my logos has seen better days.
BUT the frame is no light weight
The reason I swopped from the Cove was comfort initially, so for that reason none of the other aforementioned frames can be discounted.

31.6-30.9 shims do exist. I have a Gravity Dropper one in my Evil Sovereign. A very handy bit of kit.

Thanks for your replies. The news that there are shims out there has pointed me squarely at the Bfe. It looks as good as the Transition, but a whole load less cash.
