It's new bike time. Looking at getting a new alloy frame and building up with some existing parts. Got 160 pikes, dropper and flow ex wheelset
Must be an XL frame at 6'4
Can't really decide between bronson and the transition?
Got a demo day next week on the Bronson. Anyone know where I can try out a patrol in yorkshire.

Thanks

I'd have thought the nomad is more like the patrol than bronson is?.

Between those two only, I'd probably pick the transition. I didn't like the feeling of the rear end stiffening under pedalling load on the Santa Cruz.

However, the XL transition numbers read an awful lot like the large airdrop edit so I think that would be well worth a look. I'm currently comparing the large patrol to the medium edit.

YT now do a Jeffsy in 27.5, I reckon that's worth a look too.

For that kind of money, you're looking at carbon and a pretty decent spec.

If you have wheels is worth remembering the rear on a bronson is boost now.

Warranty on transition is pretty poor at 2 years and the chain stays seem to be brittle.

When I bought my alloy patrol the numbers were almost identical to a nomad.

Onza that airdrop looks like a great bit of kit, think it'll be a bit small for me though.

2 year warranty on the transition is a bit of a concern

You can buy my XL nomad CC for less than the price of either of those alloy frames

Excellent condition, with hope headset, invisiframe kit, and monarch plus rear shock. Im in Derby.
