Does anyone know when the next batch of Transition frames are going to be available in the UK? I've heard there's a drop due this month but can't seem to get a more specific date than that.

Towards the end of this month (which might mean early in the new year realistically).

Are you waiting for something in particular?

Have a large green on order. I'm happy to wait - just wanted a better idea of when I'm likely to get my hands on it.

Are they generally out of stock then? Hoping to get a Patrol in a couple of weeks - didn't want to start pestering shops until I've got the cash

I assume that's from the shop....who were told by the importer....who were told by Transition.
You could go direct to any of these but I suspect you'd get the same answer.Such are the vagaries of bike supply/shipping.In fact the only people who could give exact dates were orange as they made them (though that went awry a lot) and (was) Yeti as they air freighted them every 2 weeks.

This time of year, they are coming in dribs and drabs as the new models aren't long out. If you're happy to do mail order then you should be able to find one in stock

Selected models in selected sizes seem to be in stock. I know there was a drop of yellow Patrols a week or so ago. Drover above would be your best guide on here.

Depending on what size/colour you have in mind, I'd certainly recommend pre-ordering. No shop is going to object to you giving them a heads-up on what you want.

Some shops will have a few frames in stock of course - other than that there are very limited Patrol complete bikes, and virtually no frames, with the distributor until the next drop comes - and they'll go out to customers who have pre-ordered pretty much straight away.

Thanks Drover - it's a frame I'm after. Forgive my ignorance but is payment made in full when pre-ordering?

Tops, I've got a Scout on pre-order and put a 10% deposit down.

My patrol c frame arrived last week so there must be a few kicking about. January is meant to be the next drop I believe.

Yeah, 10%-20% deposit seems to be normal and it's pretty negotiable. The shop doesn't pay anything until delivery but understandably would want some commitment from the customer as they're committed to the frame once it's delivered.

I was told "Christmas time" so I'm thinking December-January.

Had it confirmed by LBS ( via WindWave) that there is a delay and they are now due in January.

I've had a bit more information today. Patrol Carbon delivery has moved from early-Feb to late-Feb or early-March. Bit disappointed as have been looking forward to it very much.

Dealer keeping me in the loop though - which is good.
