Hello
In my ongoing faff to buy a full suss 29er that can cope with big mountain riding, the Transition Bandit 29er has caught my eye.
Does anyone have one that they could share their experiences e.g. how it rides, sizing etc?
Cheers
Sanny
I liked the look of it too, but have decided against it.
Decent review here

been seriously thinking about a 26 inch wheeled bandit and if its as tough as the 29er seems to be then thumbs up 😀

Doris, can recommend the 26" Bandit wholeheartedly. Mine is an XL with a robust build (I'm 6'4" and 98kg) and still weighs in fractionally over 27lb. It's coped with me throwing it at all kinds of stuff without any issues whatsoever.
Haven't ridden the 29er but the DNA is good so worth the OP having a look.
I have a short list of two, the transition bandit and the new saracen ariel, just need to sort out some test rides and get selling some bits to fund a new frame.
I have a bottle rocket so reckon i will enjoy the bandit
the salsa horsethief looks very similar, and it's cheaper.
