Normally use shimano s/s but have seen these, a cable is just a cable right....? 🙂
Or the transfil aren't that good and dont last as long as the standard s/s shimano.

I don't know about Transfil but have a look at Fibrax for reasonably priced inner cables. The teflon coated stainless steel ones are top notch.

Coated ones are great till it wears off then are utter rubbish
I've used transfill stainless on my road bike and work just as well as the genuine campy stuff

Yeah, I've used the coated stuff in the past but just want to use stainless cables. Cheers OB.
