So , did anyone else get on the race for next year? Just got mine through. Excited and apprehensive at the same time. Plenty of training over the dark winter months needed for sure.

It is on my bucket list but I concluded that realistically I would not be able to be physically fit for the 2016 edition.

2017 then, only if I am lucky enough to be the "chosen one".

Good luck with your race. It should be awesome!

Did you enter the normal draw on Monday?
Me and a few others that entered haven't heard anything back yet.

Myself and one other local lad have heard we are in... so not great news for you Madfly, I am sure there will be a few that decide against it and don't pay the deposit so you are not out of it yet.

Richwak.... same as, excited and kinda scared too.

I think if I was in europe it would be my 2016 holiday aim...

Maybe some airmiles 2017 and some more training

Ah well. Were you a self supported entry?

I thought I'd be lucky if I got to race it for a second time!

I was out there this year, a week or so before the race, and rode some of the stages - you are going to have a lot of fun, there are some great trails!

I was really tempted but then I think, if I tried to ride double header or any number of other trails around there, blind, and fast, as part of a big long stage, the marshalls will need a brush and shovel to get me off the hill 😆 Awesome event though.

I've still heard noting.
Do they get in touch to let you know if you've not been lucky enough??

They will do either way, if you've not heard drop them an email. (Or so it states on their fb)
