I let my Zwift subscription expire at the last price hike after being on it since 2015. Plan was to focus on outside riding over winter which actually went pretty well.

However - an unplanned body/car bonnet interface has left me with bruised/broken ribs and a very bruised shoulder so my thoughts have turned to using the turbo again until I feel good enough to ride outside again.

I've got a Training Peaks Premium membership so get Training Peaks Virtual included. Has anyone used it? Thoughts?

Been using it came out on AppleTV as previously I didn't have a device capable of running it properly, was a 3rd generation box so not the best but saw enough to convince me to upgrade to a 4k

No brainer for me as an existing Premium subscriber, I rarely raced or used the social aspects of Zwift as I just wanted something a bit more engaging than the garage wall when doing intervals.

Anyway, really happy with it and not missing all the Zwift BS in the slightest, truth is I always found it a bit 'crap'

Yes, used it over the last winter. Limited rides compered to Zwift but this didn't concern me. Less riders, but I never did the social when I was using Zwift so don't miss it. I'll be going back to TP Virtual next winter.

Ta both - no harm in me downloading and giving it a try. I'm assuming there's a "just ride" option?

In function and look it's so like Zwift I'm amazed there hasn't been a lawsuit...

Yes there’s a free ride option, follow a set route or do your own thing and have an explore.

Pace bots also available

I used a couple of times a week over winter whilst it was free. Did a couple of races but they were mostly against bots (not that's it's actually a problem). Most times I was just doing workouts.

Will probably get a subscription for a few months next winter

Its very very similar to Zwift. You can free ride, follow routes, race or follow training programmes.

I used it when it was called Indivelo and it was great. But since they now charge a fair bit for it i'm now on Rouvy which i think is marvellous.

Let's see how it runs on the 9 year old laptop... Zwift was always fine.
