I am working away next week and I am staying at a friends at Bonsall.
I have had a look at the Strava explore section but all I can find is road climbs, I may well take the roadie but I can't seem to spot any mtb sections.
Just trying to get a ride from the door sorted really, or should I just drive up and do a loop around Edale.
I am working nights so if anyone should be heading out during the day next week i'd love to tag along.

switch to satellite view, and you can zoom in further and detect the segments. Refine your search by excluding categorised climbs. You'll be better off in an area with better drainage though as it's pretty grim out there atm
I did wonder if that area might be a bit damp... I am used to that, chalk and clay here but that only makes me want to ride rock more!
I think I may just head up and do the loop around Edale then.

The 5 dales circuit starts near matlock, cracking route, search strava for that title or online somewhere.
Black rocks, bow wood, shining Cliff, crich chase all easily accessible but don't think they are in very good nick
