A few of us are camping in Low Lorton at the start of July and we're after some riding recommendations for the weekend please. In the past we've done Setmurthy hills but a lot of the trails had been flattened last time we were in that neck of the woods, or we often ride Whinlatter if it's been raining and the more natural stuff is waterlogged. Can anyone recommend any trails within about an hour of Low Lorton we could explore please? Keen to try something new.
Thanks
Nick

Setmurthy trails are still running well, so that's a good option.

There are many trails at Dent (behind cleator moor) however they can be very full on in the wet (think golfie) but they are worth a look. They are all on trailforks

There are a few options from whinlatter (grizedale pike etc) and obviously it's the lake district, so lots of mountains to go at

NW Lakes mountains are great if you like hike-a-bike. Is that an option?

Thank you @Neb

Great to hear that Setmurthy is running well at the moment. Will check out the trails at Dent if it’s dry(ish). Thanks for the recommendations!

Thank you @scuttler. Hike a bike is an option as long as not too far carrying bikes as we’ve a mix of e bikes/normal bike. Is There anything specific you’d recommend?
