Hi, does anyone know of any good trails in and around the glenshee area?
Thanks
Neil
Natural stuff in glenshee is going to be pretty wet with snowmelt. Better off heading north to braemar area (10 - 15 miles). Tracks up there are better built to cope with traffic. Get an os map and just go exploring.
I'm reading between the lines here as "Going to Glenshee to ski and it looks like it will be in crap nick"
Am I right?
certainly looks like it.
Ouch. Didn't realise there had been that much snow loss 🙁
aye, someone turned on the big hairdryer last week sometime. 🙁
I know, 13* here (central highlands) today, rivers are hoofing down and no snow at all. Trails are minging wet.
Compare to last years Christmas with -16 and about 10-15cm of snow....

Loch ordie would be a good xc jaunt
Not too wet , easy going after the Xmas over feasting
And a nice little selection of pub / cafe for post ride
Otherwise glen Isla has some potential ( old xc ski trails )
What about the 'DH' track at Glenshee down the Cairnwell?
cheers guys, spin you are spot on! thats the problem with booking a hotel to go and ski in scotland 🙁
