Off to the in-laws for summer hols. Any advice on trails (natural or fake) in Southern Ireland greatly appreciated.

I went to the SSWC in Ballyhoura and really enjoyed the stuff round there but it was years ago, no idea if its changed much.

Great trails in Wicklow , I belive near Powerscourt. Or if not too far to travel north awesome trails in Rostrevor

Ballyhouras are excellent as a trail centre. Lots near Dublin / Wicklow check out 3 Rock. Haven't been there but there is a new trail centre near Galway.

Loads of fireroad which is often a bit rougher than UK equivalent in proper mountains, ignore Coillte (Irish Forestry Commission) No cycling signs unless they are recent and relate to actual logging activity.
