Where was good riding had' today then? Anywhere without too much ice? Thinking of going tomorrrow..

All the Peak stuff around/above Hayfield is mostly drifting, unconsolidated snow. It's good weekend for walking or running or climbing on the Downfall, which is apparently in nick, or road riding with ice spikes on...

Don't ask how I know etc...

Rivvy's good, plenty of snow all rideable. the road upto the ice cream van car park is lethal though, it put me on my arse. anglezarke and healy nab are all rideable to.

Hora - Prob not much help at all posting this at this time of day but I've been out round Marple, Brook bottom, Mellor, Rowarth today and it was 99% rideable, just a short push up the track past Aspenshaw Hall, the rest was a bit slushie and hard work in the deeper stuff but doable.

I'm off there on Thurs night for a night ride of you fancy it, dependant on the conditions either the full 13mile or the shorter 9mile. Starting on/at Oldknow Road around 19:00, then chippy tea from the marple Fish Bar.
