While having my lunch I like to look at webcams from around the world.
The monkeys in Zambia aren't doing much so is there a webcam where I can watch people on their bikes?
There's a few in morzine. I think they are mostly wide shots, though
Great idea btw!
That Alaska one with the bears fishing in the river is fantastic. No bikes though.
There's a few at Nevis Range, though mostly on the ski runs. You might see someone passing by on a bike. http://www.winterhighland.info/cams/nevisrange/
Ski resort cams still run in summer, eg

not great viewage though! 😊
I'd suggested something like this as a safety measure for a trail centre - could set camera(s) up at what would be considered 'hot-spots' for crashes/issues and replay the broadcast (motion sensitive) to some tv monitors in a car park or central location - camera could be solar powered.
I'd suggested it as a means of making sure any remote locations could be checked easily i.e. there would be a feed within easy reach to check.
Didn't happen but I still think there could be some value in it or something similar.
There's one at my dad's sailing club, actually three or four I think. People can log on and see the weather as it is before deciding whether to head over (it's an hour's drive for him so quite useful) Also a security thing, a lot of people leave their boats there.
Similar at, say, Glentress masts or top of Minch Moor, would allow us to check the weather and conditions live. Forecasts are OK but seeing how deep the snow actually is at the top would be useful.
Great idea but practicalities - Funding. Signal for transmitting in the middle of nowehere. Power source. How to stop them getting nicked/vandalised
