7 Stanes would be a good bet, do the Blues at Glentress, then take your pick of the others.

Snowdonia has loads of brilliant routes for beginners.

Try the Bikefax guidebook - all the routes are graded for severity and technicality so you can pick the easier ones.
Bit hilly though, but that's the fun bit, eh?

Northumberland/Swaledale/Dales all have loads of beginners routes too.
Guidebooks are your friend.

GT would be a good choice, especially as you can park at Buzzards too so the newbie's haven't the long climb initially.

And for the more experienced, you've Inners just 10 mins away.

Sherwood pines "the kitchener" a good place to build confidence for beginners, nothing technical, fast flow red trail.. Not so much climbing too, or descent for that matter. .. Well placed trail direction. Amenities great. .. You probably cant find better place than this for beginners. .. Muddy this season though.
