They are going to put up some chainsaw sculpture at the new trail centre round our way and I've been asked for bike related ideas (!). So, in true STW tradition, I'm going to ask you lot.

Got any pictures of stuff that looks good or got any ideas?

I think a 10ft one of these stood on its end would look cool.

As a serious answer - find a good sculptor and leave the ideas to him / her. Nothing worse than art by committee.

One of the suggestions from the bloke at the council was a set of forks.

A Mint Sauce would be good too of Jo B would allow it.

Not mint sauce - i am not a fan - but it should be obvious to all its about cycling and that is not IMHO.

Forks or rear shock is a good idea and some bombers would be amusing

If you get some of them done I will get a mate to make some shoes and we can all wee in them when we go there 😉

A cassette, 11 or 12 speed for a bit of future proofing?

A big saddle would be good, then kids could have funny pictures taken sitting on it. Kids like that sort of thing. Big kids. Like me. 😀
