Did anyone here do the long route? I'm after the exact distance and height gained - my Garmin went berserk and tells me I rode 138 miles.....!

Somewhat muddy!!

The GPS route is available isn't it? Ah.. But there was a diversion.
Sorry, we had to abort our long route plans as some over enthusiastic cornering at the first turn off the old railway line resulted in a hospital trip and a fractured fibia for one of our gang. We quickly nipped round the short loop whilst he went to hospital.
Muddy wasn't it?!

Don't run gps myself......

Sorry to hear about your mate. I split my tyre on the same corner but managed to limp round.

Muddy wasn't the word. That's the sort of thing they should have taken the Californians to in the latest STW issue. The whole thing was a non-stop swamp.

Hope he makes a quick recovery.

Been riding locally there today and the mud was just as biblical as last week. Hope your mate recovers soon. We had ice as well on todays ride to contend with as well.

I did it: 28.7 miles, 3005ft of pure unadulterated muddy fun 😀

I was invited but sadly ( 😉 ) had to decline. Congrats to those that braved the conditions
