I'm looking for a new 29er wheelset

I am happy to spend  around the 300-350 mark but they need to be standard QR and traditional spacing 100 and 135mm.

Tubless ready and as light as possible any recommendations or bargains about?

It's really hard to find  135 QR spacing these days!

Maybe not what you’re after but I’ve just advertised a set of crossmax on here

I bought these two weeks ago. Lovely wheels, all sealed up for tubeless, with valves already on.  https://www.bike-discount.de/en/buy/shimano-xt-wh-m8000-29-disc-qr-qr-xc-wheelset-655861

Hope Tech XC Pro 4s Come in at £360 from CRC It's slightly confusing on the CRC site as you can only choose between 142 & 148 widths but the 142 option comes with 135QR conversion caps.

My XC Pro 2 Evo wheels are nearly 4yrs old, I've done 10,000km on them and they are still true and are on the original bearings.

I don't think you can go wrong with a Hope hub with changeable end caps, then if you change later to a bike with thru-axles you can transfer wheels across, i personally like Hope hubs built with Stans Arch or Flows rims.

Seconding the Hope option -- I've never had problems with them and they're super easy to convert

Hope hubs with your choice of rims dependent on usage and proposed tyre width.

I like Flows.

I’ve just had the same issue. Went with Hope Hopes, Pro 4s and XC rims. Doesn’t seem to be anything else off the shelf in 135mm qr.

I recently bought a set of Hope XC hoops with Pro 4 hubs and they seem really nice. If I remember rightly I had to order the 100m front and 142mm rear which would be convertible to QR with end caps. Mine were QR out of the box with the end caps for through axles included.

As others have said Hope are a good choice but you could try some Kinesis Maxlight IX wheels.

Winstanleys have them at £320

Some JRA wheels? Plenty of options including traditional hub sizes http://www.justridingalong.com/jra-wheels/jra-mtb-wheels.html
