I am sharing this to see whether I am being unreasonable. I'd actually resolved to just drop this with Tradeinn, as it's not worth the hassle, but it's actually getting to be slightly hilarious for the reasons I'll outline.
I purchased a Patagonia fleece from them at the end of November. I already have the 2017 version of the fleece, so was aware of the design and fit. There was only, literally, a handful of retailers in Europe selling this model, and specially ordering it from a local retailer is time consuming and a slight hassle. I was going to order direct from Patagonia themselves, who have excellent customer service, but I instead went with Tradeinn. I'd not tried them before, but they seemed a massive company, so gave them a shot.
In a nutshell, the fleece they sent looked and fitted different to the 2017 version. I repeatedly emailed Tradeinn about this, but they ignored the emails. I then checked with Patagonia, and they informed me that the model they sent me was two and a half years old. This is a slight problem as Patagonia change their designs, materials and, most importantly, their fit year on year.
Tradeinn refuse to even acknowledge that the fleece is two and half years old and said that I got what I asked for, namely the correct model fleece. I explained that they nowhere mentioned that it was such an old version on the product page on their site, but again they just ignore the point. Additionally, they refuse to get a manager to email or phone me.
I ended up having to send it back to Spain at a cost of £22, which they refused to reimburse me for.
I had a bad experience with CRC a little while back, which I shared on here. I actually gave CRC another shot on the back of all the positive feedback in the thread, and they were faultless on those occasions. I may be being unreasonable with Tradeinn likewise, and am curious what others think about this.
I used TrekInn once. Never again.
Item shown as in stock, needed for a trip. Wasn't in stock. Had to fight for any kind of communication, follow up etc. What little I got bordered on rude, and was brusque at best.
Useless shower of shit.
Yup, slower delivery and poorer comms than onshore mail order but often cheaper. Choose your priority...
I ordered a jacket from them a couple of years ago.
Took over a month to arrive despite the site saying in stock.
They ignored my emails asking for updates on where it was.
I'll not be using them again.

Basque at best?
as above ordered an item that was i stock - they kept drifting on the date they would deliver and they were reluctant* to reimburse - got the credit card company involved to resolve
throughout all this time the item remained in stock on their website when they could not even get it
AVOID at all costs is my opinion of them
* kind for refusing as they said i had to wait something weird like 3 moths before i could have my money back

While partly true, and as a self confessed Patagonia fanboi, I have fallen out with them on customer service and fit of their gear over the last few years.
It used to be that warranty stuff was freepost to Ireland - and turned round in a week.
Now you pay for post there and return to Portugal, they won't confirm free repair from pictures before hand (zip slider come off zip that has come un-stitched, so pretty obvious) as they did before, and they still go on about how good they are repairing clothes...
I have also bought a fleece and soft shell in the last three years that are both deeply disappointing in cut - and the softshell is about as breathable as a binbag.
Similar experience to those above, a total bag of crap.
They’re an absolute crock of shite IME
No quite at Dave Hinde status but I’ll never use them again.
