Well and truly died just as I was setting up some new tubeless tyres.

What do people recommend - tempted by the Airwave Airblast as I currently use a 'pop bottle airshot', any others around the £50 or less mark..?

I have tried fixing it! I want to go out tomorrow and have one soggy tyre! Tried about 5 times over the space of an hour but cant get it to seal where the hose fixes onto the pump. Swearing and winging it across the garage didn't seem to work either...

It owes me nothing but I need a new pump tomorrow morning if I want to get out, or use the CO2 I just bought, expensive but quick solution.

I really like the Topeak joe blow mountain. Great for seating tubeless

You can get replacement hose head attachment thingies easy and cheap.

-1 for Joe Blow. Rubbish attachment and dodgy accuracy. I find it doesn't give enough blast through a presta to seat easily.

+1 for Halfords own brand cheap crap one. Great at seating tubeless and easy to attach the end. Also generic cheap attachment that's easy to replace if anything did go wrong. The dial to set a target pressure also stays in place unlike the Joe Blow.

Plus one for Halfords too.

Brought their cheapo plain black plastic job ,must be 7 years ago ,still going strong was only £10.00 if i remember correctly.

MY lifeline one from wiggle is as good as the topeak one it replaced. IF I was to get one now though I'd get one of the ones that has the receiver to make tubeless inflation easier - better than the garden sprayer bodge I use.

Silca are excellent, spares available for almost every one ever made.

I've rebuilt mine twice in 30yrs and it was second hand when I bought it

SKS Rennkompressor and an Airshot. My Airshot destroyed my Topeak Joe Blow, at an indicated 120 PSI (should have been good for 160).

Standard Joe Blow is a fairly low volume pump- that's not a fault, it's what you want for higher pressures, it just makes it not good for tubeless- it's why they make the mountain morph, which is excellent for tubeless.

I've got two of the Giant branded ones, both seem fine (I won one of them, the other is the high-end one)

Exactly the same as Tired.

I've killed three joe blows now and moved sks instead. Far better quality and will fill an airshot without crapping out.

+another

Low pressure/high volume of the Mountain is great for MTB tyres. Gauge is very accurate, according to my Topeak D2 pressure gauge. So far more reliable than the Blackburn(s) it replaced.

This is the pump, but it's not listed on the Topeak site which doesn't bode well for buying another down the line: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/topeak-joe-blow-mountain-pump/rp-prod74895

No idea what the regular Joe Blow is like, so can't comment.
