The Twinhead on my Joe Blow pump has given up the ghost- leaking despite me replacing the seals, so I assume something inside has gone pop

Are pump heads fairly universal, or do I have to get another TopPeak? Would be nice to have a bleed button

Yea I know I can just buy a new pump but I’d rather fix the one I’ve got and not have it in landfill

No easy answer to this… some are sold as universal, and some are sold with some sort of hose adapter that will never fit your hose. Working out which is which can be tricky.

I order one of these on a punt:
https://www.bike-components.de/en/Topeak/SmartHead-DX3-Valve-Head-for-JoeBlow-Booster-p62250/

and can happily reveal that it did fit, and greatly improve, my Lezeyne track pump. It has a bleed button.

Changed the head on mine for a Topeak Upgrade Kit Threadlock about £12 from Wiggle.

Much better than the original one...

I recently bought a BBB Dualhead 2.0 (£6 from Amazon) - not had any problems with it at all (used on Presta, Schrader and Dunlop valves, plus needles for inflating footballs), although the lever has quite a snap to it so you need to watch your fingers! I'd recommend it though...

I replaced the one on my Joe Blow with a smarthead (linked above by 00).
No problem.

Thanks all. €15 for postage seems steep; I'm sure the German sites did't used to be that much!

Another vote for the brass one twowheels mentions. I used it for my Joe Blow and it's a weighty, quality item that I can't see ever breaking.

I asked this recently.
I ended up buying one from decqthlon as i was there and it was pretty desperate!

No bleed valve though.
