Having recently changed cars I need to get a towbar fitted for bike duties. Last one I bought was a few years ago, on a year old Audi A6 Avant, and was about £800 fully warrantied from Buchan towbars in Glasgow. Quote for similar (detachable and software update) on a 2020 Audi Q5 is about the same.

I did ask Audi Glasgow....they said go to Buchans or pay us £1500.. any other options I should look at ?

£163

Probably best to get the plug in electrics though for £200 plus coding with vcds

PF Jones have a mobile fitter that covers Glasgow that did my A6 18 months ago. Excellent and decent price for a OEM Westfalia detachable. I ordered mine through eBay.

Fitting and coding between £270 and £300 ish

Should be sub £700 all in for the OEM kit.
