I've bent a second set of Chromag OSX bars.
The last ones bent forward after hitting a tree at FoD
This set bent after attempting to scrub a jump and using the end of my bars to land rather than using my wheels 8)
(I also customised my elbow with a few "flaps")

I love the shape and feel of OSX bars but even with half-price crash replacement I can't afford to keep buying them every time I have a decent crash.
Has anyone crash tested any similar DH bars they can recommend?
Must be at least 780mm wide
Cheers

Thomson or renthal maybe? Unless you go for enve I can't think of any carbon ones that are 780mm wide. I don't know if either those would be any stronger though, but I'm surprised the chromag ones bent that much after a crash - were you still holding on when you hit the ground?

Have you considered not crashing. After all, they are designed for riding, not crashing. Anything is bendable or breakable if you land hard enough on it.

Pretty sure I was riding it into the ground raisin. Scrubs require commitment!
