Looking for a full sus bike around under 2 grand for XC and trail use (red runs but not blacks, big drops or jumps).
Looking at 2016 bikes to get value for money and current shortlist is:
Whyte T129 S @ £1700
Cannondale Habit 4 (with Lefty 2.0 fork) @ £1900
Anthem SX 1 (27.5) @ £1700
Trance EX8 29er @ £1700
What do you reckin STW?
Whyte for me, but I like 29er's and I'm biased against C'dale due to their attitude (warranty dispute many moons ago) and I don't like Giants.. so that is an obviously balance POV 😉

Thanks for the pointers so far. I'm not sold on the Bird to be honest, although I've never ridden one. The basic spec is the only one within my budget and I think it'll be a bit of a compromise spec wise, although happy to be corrected.....
