Coming up to Torridon this summer and looking for a couple of days riding. Was hoping to camp in Torridon itself or close by, can any of you good people recommend 2 good days riding. Preferably from the village, however I will have the car so can drive to a start point.
I like techy riding and dont mind lots of hike a bike.
Many thanks guys.

You are going to the right place then.
There's easily two days' of amazing riding out from Torridon and navigation is pretty easy as there aren't that many tracks. How long do you want to be out each day?
Loch Damph / Ben Damph circuit has an amazing rocky descent, loved it despite high winds and stinging rain. You'll need a ford a river BTW.
The descent to Annat is astonishingly good fun, and made a smashing end to a couple of routes we did.
The Achnashellach descent is a step up in terms of steepness and gnar and it's a hike-a-bike to get to it. We did this as part of a big lollipop.
Email me if you'd like Strava links.
Chakaping thats sounds spot on. Can you export strava routes to a gpx format ?
Start in Torridon Village, ride up from Annat to the Bealach na Lice. Hang a left and climb through Coire Grannda. The descent from Coire Laire to Achnasheallach is fantastic. Ride along the road to Coulags and climb the Bealach na Lice from the other side. Enjoy the amazing descent to Annat. One of the best days I've had on a bike, truly fantastic.
Ben Damph circuit is also vert good, maybe a good option with the above as the big loop will do you in!

Think so but maybe it's a Premium thing - I don't use GPX - but you could use them to mark up a map.
Tom's route sounds like what we did for our big day, BTW. Awesome riding.
This is the lollipop we did. Was absolutely excellent.
Only a small bit of hike-a-bike and most of it was perfectly ridable.
I think it's a variation of the 'classic torridon' route.

Ace... that Lollipop will be perfect for one day. Just need day two sorting out. Thanks guys... keep em coming.
I can confirm that the lollipop route everyone's talking about is excellent. So good that I did it twice on our week-long trip three weeks ago.
The Beinn Dampf is also brilliant. Both are easily doable from the campsite.
Driving to Applecross, doing a there-and-back to Kenmore and finishing in the pub is also superb. Less technical, but superb.
I can attempt to send you GPX tracks (although they didn't work on my friend's Garmin) if you want. Email in profile.
The Ben Dampf loop is not a full day, so could combine with this - giving the chance of another crack at the Annat descent and some great riding and awesome views above/beyond that too.

Or this with a quick drive up road to the start - not really worth the last turn up towards the Coire unless you're secretly Chris Akrigg btw.
The drop back down to the car park is gnarly as hell and almost like a natural DH track.

Or go Kenmore to Applecross and back if staying in Torridon. Cuts out the long drive. The cafe at the walled garden in Applecross is superb.
I've tried a couple of variations on the out and back. Rather than going straight back to Kenmore we tried spliiting off at the junction and going to down Inverbain. Sweet lord that was something else. 5km of almost entirely unrideable ankle breaking boulder-bog choss fest. It can be done as a circuit by riding the Bealach na Ba if you want to ride that.
There is also a nice section of trails runs near the road between Kenmore and Ardehelsaig.
Just checking in here. 🙂
Just marking going in October 🙂
Ditto
Not sure if this is all those mentioned above, but descriptions, maps and GPX files are all here:

Marko...
That site is absolutely brilliant mate. Just what I was after.
Thanks for your help guys. Just need to book the weather and midges now.
Tomd +1. One of the best, if not the best days biking in UK.

Agreed. Not sure how it slips under the radar, as it's pure MTB, uses OS maps and has no Ads.
I've no idea who's behind it, but they deserve a round of applause.
