I recently stripped my Tora 289 fork, in order to spray the lowers.
When I came to re-assemble things, I couldn't help thinking that the pre-load cap should have had an o-ring, but it didn't.
Now, I was very careful to bag up all of the parts during strip down, so I'm sure I didn't lose anything.
Despite not having any problems before, I'm now getting oil leakage from under the dial - not from between the cap and the crown.
Could it be a problem with the o-ring on the cap that sits on top of the spring, internally?
