Just started commuting to working and I have purchased a new carbon road bike. I have to chain bike up to posts when I get to work and would like to get some kind of protection to wrap around top tube. This is the only thing I can find. Would like something neater and smarter looking.

Cheers

I'd use bar tape. Wrap as per bars with leccy tape either side, neat, does the job well, won't trap muck underneath and move, mussing up the finish on the tube.

How about some pipe lagging stuff, the grey foamy stuff. And just leave it at work.

+1 for helitape. Why does it need to be any more substantial unless you're not being careful how you place your bike against the railings/posts?
