Big shout out to Ian Warby at Firecrest MTB - I won the Chilterns Cycle competition and got 3 hours of top notch jumps and drops training yesterday afternoon in a sunny, deserted Aston Hill. A great session - biggest drops I've ever ridden, learned to corner faster, and had a brilliant time. Despite a random, past-all-the-hard-stuff slam that nearly tore off a brake lever.

Ah nice! I was on the runners-up day and good fun it was too. Just after some time off the bike with a dislocated shoulder and then my son being born [i]just[/i] after I got out of the sling from that, it was a welcome skills refresher too.
