Get ride of that single speed stuff and you may have half a chance !! 😳 😉
Unfortunately I have a pre arranged lazy bimble arranged for that day.
Suspect you can still drop me though but as it is short I would stand a chance
Singlespeeds are obviously the fastest bike of choice! I actually don't have any mountain bike working at the moment, debating doing a quick ride on the cross bike later though.
Junkyard, you should be OK. 😀
well flattery indeed but the mate from the planned bimbly ride would be dropped before we hit a hill so sadly cant make it but some other time

His seat is too low.
Wet!
Last night was OK, alot better than I thought mud/condition wise. Got a few showers but nowt to worry about, on the way down from the mast road saw a group of about 8 riders then two other groups of two riders in the Chinese Gardens, must be mad out in that weather at night !!! 8)
was that your group coming down the steps heading towards coal pit?
Dont think so, there was only 3 of us.
If CoalPit Rd is the one at the top of Smithalls, it defo was not us.
Nah... this was a group of about 10.
Cost me twenty quid to say hello to them.
What do you mean £20.00 ?
Joke amongst us. The amount of money we have to pay the person to get a hello out of them.
The more cheerful they are the cheaper it is. The more miserable / rude they are the more expensive it is.
Hence last nights group were a pretty bloody miserable lot, costing me twenty to get a hello out of them.
