This cropped up in my suggestions and was an enjoyable little watch.

I rode my commuter bike off some 18" benches last week. Foot slipped off pedal and jarred my back. It's crazy how big they go on these big bikes with very little room for their bodies to absorb the shocks. Some of the slams look brutal!

Thanks, I will watch this for sure.

Pinkbike necro-bumped a Tom La Marche video from 2011 in their Monday movies the other week.

Just got round to watching the video in the OP, it is a nice watch.

It gave me a flashback of spending hours trying (and failing) to learn a keospin when I was studying for my PhD.

It's cheesy to focus on a crash clip but everyone reading this should at least check out 6m10s - 6m25s for something entertaining 😀

Tldr - it's like BMX.....only a lot shitter.

I'm only bitter because it killed the best MTB company -BrooklynMachineWorks. They came out with the gangsta fixie, Pharel Williams bought into the company as fixie shit was cool and hyped then BMW went tits up ( I had a Park bike and Racelink, my mate had #13 Minilink/FQ and also a Park)

I just don't get how they get crank position right when doing a move.

I rode my Charge Plug for quite a while fixed and even hopping up curbs/kerbs was tricky as you generally got to the hop with feet in a sub-optimal position.

I nearly stacked it several times just riding leaned into corners and forgetting that the cranks would ground out.
Went back to singlespeed 😊

Saw the video a few weeks back. It's amazing 👏
