To be honest I'm a bit busy today ,so how is Thursday for the rest of you?

The love of my life 🙂
Oh, great. Can't wait for the inevitable disappointment, where 'she' turns up late, and then leaves after a week.
OP, do you suffer from Premature Celebration? Solstice isn't until 23.03 this evening.
Hmmm we supposed to dance about nekkid or something 🙂
We ve had 2 great summers in a row... June and September were both amazingly dry and warm

I was hoping to do something different this evening. But if you insist....
Happy Solstice all. Tonight - much friendliness, quoffage and pie. We don't do it naked but do have a small fire and burn all our negative thoughts. Wishing you all the very best.
My wife told me that even though days start to lengthen, the mornings will still get darker for a bit!
Off for a ride now! Men's sweat lodge in the woods tonight! We will be naked.

Off to the park with the kids on their bikes then I'll head off on he roadie later, can't complain!
I'll be getting out on the bike to celebrate surviving the descent into darkness, welcome back the light 😀
This makes me very happy.
+1 for Burt's Carrie Fisher novel reference 😉 (Only just noticed it)
Good day for a ride then. Shame it's pissing it down 🙂
You're all bloody weird!
We've got bikes with big knobbly tyres, designed to go through mud and stuff, waterproof clothing and you moan about this awesome weather - big hills, big skies, high winds, mud, rain and best of all empty trails - winter is brilliant!
🙂
Best. Thread. Since. June.
Maybe we should turn this into a show me your summer riding pictures thread...

Not just summer - here's the end of November, halfway up, and on top of, Wales's tallest mountain:

We've had a good riding year really!!
Jamie - Freeloader!

Oi, misery pants! Had quite a good year weather-wise I thought...
I'd take another 2013 + 2014 spring/summer/autumn please bob! Was rather dusty and dry in the North West, with mildness right through till November
The three months of winter are the only times it properly monsooned.
Been a little drizzly in South Hampshire so I called it a day on my second loop of climbing intervals.
Happily lying under a douvet watching Horse Show at Olympia.. Where my legs are toasty, just like that Summer.. 8)

The evenings have already been getting longer for a few days, though I suppose that's just down to not having the clocks adjust so that midday is the actual solar midday.
Just got back from a blustery road ride,it's hard work in that headwind.
As others have posted I think the last couple of years have been good weather, the only downside being mild winters haven't froze the mud..
aracer I never knew that about the clocks
