I'm going to have to get out for a ride this Sunday now, haing completed the build of my new-to-me Bandit with old fashioned 26" wheels.
Neoprene cover on dropper as it's a Joplin, while I decide whether I'm brave enough to drill the frame for a Stealth Reverb...

Never mind the floor, have you seen my attempt at plastering the back wall?

Nice looking build that, something that I would consider for myself actually. Do you have a full set of specs for it?

That ball's flat, and it's the wrong shape.

Ball belongs to dog, not me!
Tedious spec list is:
Large Bandit frame with RP23, Superstar headset & cheap eBay seat clamp,
X Fusion Slant set to 140mm,
Mavic 819 on Chris King hubs with NN & RR tubeless.
XT cranks with crank skins to hide the scuffs, Works thick/thin 32t, DX pedals,
XT cassette & chain, SRAM XX shifter & X9 mech,
SLX brakes on Hope rotors (Deore lever covers as I preferred the black),
Renthals Fatbar Lite & KCNC 80mm stem, Charge grips & wine bottle cork end plugs,
Reissue Flite Ti saddle (currently on Joplin while I debate replacement)

Most of components came from my old 5 Spot.
Although at 6'2" I'm right on the cusp of L or XL Bandit sizes the only significant difference in geo between this and the 5 Spot was a 4mm shorter top tube. I've gone 40mm wider on the bars and it feels ok sitting on it, will see how it rides on Sunday...

RR? Me thinks you are an optimist!

I predict you'll love it (on the basis that its very similar to mine!)

has it been for long rides in the rain? the wheels seem to have shrunk down from the optimum size for best performance

I'll probably pop and get a set of Specialised Storm for it tomorrow, they seem to work well round here on my single speed. Probably have to hunt around in the bargain bin for them in that silly unfashionable tiny kids bike size though.
I mean, an adult, on wheels that small? Madness!
