BooHoo. Just got back from a ride and noticed a big crack in the rear chainstay of my Titus Fireline Ti. Loved that bike 🙁 . Need some ideas for a new frame/bike as the forks are also on their way out. Not bought a new bike since the start of the 27.5/boost/huge rear cassette (Wtf???) revolution and was quite happy running thick/thin with 9/10 speed and a 34 tooth front ring so not really too keen on the concept of some of the bikes I am looking at as they seemed to be aimed at people who spin a bit more than me. Trails I am doing at the moment tend to be root/rock fests and I tend to stand up most of the time and mash. Would not mind a short travel 29er or hard tail that is fast but can take being knocked around. Any ideas. Cheap is good!
Could you not get it repaired? I think Enigma repair cracked Ti and I’m. Sure there is another company that do the same, but I forgot their name.
In Sweden so not sure. Excuse for buying a new bike?
If my Fireline died I would just buy another second hand frame if I wanted to stay cheap.
If I wanted to spend some more, I would buy this:

Kingdom Vendetta X2 LE on offer at the moment, a bit burlier than the Fireline.
Had both a Fireline and X2 now and much prefer the X2.
Very well built and good company to deal with (Danish so keeping it Scandinavian for you)
