We are a dedicated group of trail builders from South Wales, committed to building and maintaining mountain bike trails at Tirpentwys. Our mission is to continue the work and legacy of our founder and fellow builder, Ryan Bullimore. #RideforRyan

Thanks to your generous support, we have raised £8,496 of our original £10,000 target. This funding has enabled us to cover essential costs, including two initial ecology surveys, the planning application fee to the council for change of land use, a contribution towards the expenses of our fantastic planning consultant, Alex Lawrence, and the fees for our CIC accountant to handle our tax returns.

As part of our planning application process, we have now been instructed to conduct additional ecology surveys focused on badgers, birds, and lizards, as well as an arboricultural survey to assess any potential damage to the ancient woodland. Due to these new requirements, we are revising our fundraising target upwards to help us carry out these additional surveys.

Furthermore, the additional funds will also be crucial in allowing us to move forward with phase two of our project, which includes much-needed improvements to car park facilities and toilet amenities.

We deeply appreciate all donations and support — they truly make a difference in helping us achieve these goals!

It's a great spot for riding. Would be a shame to see all the hard work and the brilliant trails be removed.

Thankfully they've met (and somewhat exceeded) the amount needed.  So hopefully they can pay for the next set of surveys needed so they can get planning permission.

Yeah i believe so, which is absolutely brilliant as it's an awesome little place and would be a shame to lose it. We go there 4-5 times a year over winter to play. Admittedly i've not actually ridden there much as i'm usually driving.

It's close to me and once my new bike has arrived, I'll definitely be down there during the winter.
