Any suggestions on some good fast rolling bullet proof xc tires for hard - granet trails in Scotland
Please
It certainly tires me.
Round ones. Made of rubber. Black ideally.
HTH
tYres...
Maxxis advantage.
Brontrager XR4, superb on any rock.
granite?
garnet?
Rubber Queens 2.2 UST black chili compound.
I'd also favour a UST tyre if you want something bullet proof.
Schwalbe Nobby Nics are pretty tough
Kenda Small Block 8's if you want something really fast (I wouldn't use one on the front though)
snakeskin racing ralphs
EXO maxxis Ikons
Maxxis Advantage are superb on rock. Those double blocks hook up on any edge when climbing.
Currently running (this is a 'what do you currently run' thread, isn't it?) Racing Ralph Evo Snakeskin Gatestar compound (£22 a pop at Bike Discount.de) and they stick like the proverbial. Thought the knobs were gonna fall off the edges after some rocky abuse, but they've held on so far, and roll well/tubeless easily/weigh next to bugger all so what's not to like?
But he's your dog, Charlie Brown....
