So im seeing lots and lots of these on the tinterweb. Ive only ever dented one rim although i do scratch them up on rocks etc. Ive now got carbon rims so i dont want to break them.
do i need a tire insert? Im thinking not but they seem to be all the rage......
If you get more flats than you can tolerate then yes. I'm planning on getting the new Nuke Proof set with a mate and using one each on the back wheel.
Now that is a good idea!
.
I've been considering trying some. I don't think I need them as don't doing rims or puncture much, but the extra security, sidewall support and ability to run lower pressure does seem appealing, especially on the rear. I was looking at the Nukeproof inserts but now thinking I'll try www.rimpactmtb.com given the price.
Never tried any. I think I will though, ma help with tyre support
