Have a pair of carbon RXS and figured it's time to start using them on the road bike. Â Fancy a new pair of shoes and have my eye on some Sidi's but can't find anything that says they're compatible. Â 3 point design looks the same - will they fit straight out the box or only with an adapter?
Cheers
Road cleats and road shoes are all pretty much interchangeable.
That's what I thought. Â Just found this:
Compatible with road bike pedal systems, which use cleats with 3-hole standard, for example: Look Delta and Keo, Shimano SPD-SL, Speedplay Light Action, Zero, X-Series (with 3-hole adapter plate), Campagnolo Pro-Fit, Mavic Zxellium, Time Iclic/Xpresso and Time Impact
I think the Impact might be RXS-compatible?
Yeah, they'll be fine, any 3 hole cleat will fit any 3 hole shoes.
shoes for a road bike need to be tried on, especially if they are your first set, SIDIs are nice but if the width fitting doesn't work for you..
They'll be compatible but we went off Time road pedals with the short runs of pedal models and cleat lifespan and have moved across to Speedplay...
