You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Does anyone know anything about them? I've seen a couple of videos and on a drive by the other day they are obvious from the road. I think the land they are on has public access.
I'm able to ride the first of the main lines at S4P now, so the Tilford jumps look within my ability.
The general convention is you turn up with a shovel first and ask I've they need any help digging and then you'll get an invite to ride.
you turn up with a 6 pack first and ask if they need any help wheelbarrowing soil

I'm more than happy to dig. But who is"they”? I guess that's the crux of the question.
You’ll find out when you turn up with your shovel
If you can't find the trail boss, and you are confident you're not going to case the jumps then I would ride them, being careful not to cause any damage by e.g. hauling on the brakes, or riding them when it's too wet or too dry. I'd take a shovel to repair any accidental damage but under no circumstances try to 'improve' any lines ...
If riders do turn up may sue you speak to them, nothing worse than people turning up to a set of jumps an just leaving without saying a word.
Other peoples opinion may vary but I doubt you'll go far wrong with that approach. Good luck, trails are the most fun you can have on a bike.
Had a google to see what we're talking about. They look as scabby as my local stuff 😀 With that in mind, forgo all that kissing the ring of the trailboss stuff - just turn up, be friendly and have fun. If you do damage anything, offer to repair. Once you've been a few times offer your services if they need a hand on any new work.
