Fam is off to Tignes again from 19-26 July. Obviously we'll do the marked trails but would also like to find some decent ' natural' stuff with more of a techie/ exploring bent.

Will probably be me and two sons (17/19) but might also be the missus depending on outlook.

If anyone fancies sharing a shuttle day ( does Ben's bus still operate) or knows the area well and fancies showing us then let me know.

Or if you have any suggestions if good routes then....

Last time I somewhat enthusiastically and misguidedly pedalled up Col d' Iseran one evening in full Enduro kit in an attempt to find H E I D I.

.... didn't find it

It’s worth getting in touch with Coolbus. They can sort you out with uplift and route suggestions. There is loads round there. Some of it *really* steep.

Heidi is a fun adventure, but there are better trails in the area. There's a surprising amount of climbing involved which definitely caught me out!

Heading over in July.

Flying into lyon and driving up so probably looking to hire bikes, any recommendations?

Other idea was posting bikes over?
