You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Hello!
Climbed a big hill on Sunday and felt like I'd been run over on Monday morning with very tight calves.
I took a day off from Zwifting on Monday but raced in a short TT last night. Oddly this seems to have made my calves feel worse today.
I'm supposed to be doing the WRTL team time trial tomorrow evening.
So what would be the massed not a Doctors of Singletrack recommend?
Missing the TTT this week? (I'd prefer not to as I enjoy the company)
Having a spin for an hour or so tonight to see if they ease? There's a 1.5 Pack ride this evening that works for me timewise.
Having a night off tonight and racing tomorrow?
For clarity it's a mixed C/D team I race with and I'm very much a 'D' so there will be no records broken and they'll still get on OK without me.
Interestingly, i've had fatigue on the bike for AGES... and ages... I thought i was resting enough after Zwift rides/races.
recently due to weather i've not Zwifted for about 3-4 weeks... My legs feel 1000 times better and when out riding now i've actually got some GO back in them... A little bit of zip on the hills..
I think to be honest while Zwift helps with some things, it does really kill your legs off.
Hmmmm interesting. I try to have at least 3 rest days out of 7 usually. I should clarify the hill I climbed on Sunday was an actual in real life hill. That I walked up. Stupidly steep though. And although there was a handy NT cafe at the top they actually didn't do beer! Shocking.
