looks like the Chorus bottom bracket on the road bike is dying, rather than spend £50+ on a new Chorus i note that Chickens import a £25 campag fit item under the name tifosi.
Does anyone have much experience as to the quality?
m,
Pretty sure these are also labelled Token, and you see Token BB for Campy on ebay at approx £20.
Campy need ISO BBs, not JIS for Shimano (see Sheldon Brown for more detail on mixing these).
Road cranks often need a 108mm or 111mm axle for a double ring chainset; measure what you have before ordering.
I have a Token square taper hollow axle on a HT with Sugino M900 triple cranks and both are very light and lasting well.
Happy Christmas, PaulD
I know i need a ISO 102 which is what they are advertised as.
Token are imported by Jim Walker (IIRC) so whilst it may be a similar product it won't be the same.

As it specifically says ISO taper and comes in the relevant lengths for Campag the compatibility issues aren't really relevant!
Sure it'll be fine - square taper BBs have pretty big bearings, and on the road even the worst sealed unit should last pretty well!

I am sure it will, and for the price difference it would have to be abismal for me to loose out, but just in case the cups are made of cheese etc.
ok, received the Tifosi Bottom Bracket today and the whilst one cup does say tifosi on it the seals say Token. Suggests that the bottom bracket is a Token.
