You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Stopped at a cafe yesterday, bloke was looking at my Ti Kona . He said " One day " and sighed but then said he'd like a FS version. It got me thinking, there were one or two about back when 26" was the only game in town , I believe Litespeed made one and maybe Seven or Merlin ? I also remembered thinking at the time I couldn't see the point as a Ti HT will have a certain amount of " give " ?
I reckon if he did manage to find one it would be on the expensive side .
You still find them being made to order from China. Probably still 26" and old-school geometry unless you go full custom.
Lynskey?
I had a 650b Summit which was great, until it was nicked. Never seen again.
Kingdom. Available in 130mm trail, 160mm enduro & 200mm DH.

£4K ?
Stanton made a FS switch9er in ti, don’t think it’s part of the line up of the ‘new’ Stanton company.
Mmmm Chromag ????
Stanton Switch9er FS Ti still going strong
Contemplating a dream build over the next year or so - guess they may bring out a Gen4 soon though if they keep the model going, as they have recently updated the Switch9er Ti hardtail
Ive been riding a Kingdom Hex for a few years now. I can’t say enough good things about it. Absolutely fabulous bike. Climbs like a mountain goat and descends like a demon! Pity about the rider!
Huhn Cycles do one

And I think there’s a guy on Vancouver Island who builds one.

https://huhncycles.com/BIKES/HUHN-129-Ti/ < €5800 ! Blimey! Maybe I should get an aerospace background and start having ti full suss frames welded up in china
Pinkbike has just done an article on Prova's new enduro bike with titanium front triangle, lovely looking thing in a sort of oil slickish anodising.
deviate one is a thing of dreams... saw it at Ardrock the other year

Couple of my mates have Ti Stantons - they're very, very nice.
The Chromag looks like a Kona Process too.
I was gonna say titanium FS framjes were pointless, but that Deviate gives me a funny feeling.
4 grand for a full ti frame isn’t looking quite so spendy now, is it 😉
I've never understood why anyone would make a Ti frame then paint it?
The Prova? Isn’t painted.
The purple is from the printing process then ?
Oh ok .
How much is the prova? I'll assume as I'm asking I can't afford it :-)
Oh I answered my own question
Please send us an email (sales@provacycles.com) and we will send you a detailed pricing document with all the models we make, generally complete builds range from around $12k AUD to $25k+ AUD depending on the model and build spec
So £6-£12,000 for a road bike.
No wonder I've never seen one!+ Postage, tax and import duties!
I wonder what the full suss would be? There are a large number of bits in manufacturing it that look time heavy and machine heavy.
Website says their road bikes are $12-25k+ AUD. They’re only doing half the FS frame though 😉
I’ve never really understood the point of a Ti full suspension bike. Ti is supposed to give compliance to a rigid frame - when you’ve got a shock, what’s the point in a springy material?
Those Kingdoms look ace and seem to be quite light too, but still, what’s the point? Surely you want the non-spongy bits to be stiff?
Surely you want the non-spongy bits to be stiff?
Why?
A bit of lateral flex can really help with grip; Many frames criticised for harshness are also the stiffer frames out there, regardless of shock set up.
Besides, it’s not the material but rather the way it’s used that makes the noticeable difference.
