One of the keyholes on the rack is blocked or stuck or got something in it or I dunno what. Can put the key in a few mm, but can't get it all the way in and unlock it. Sprayed it full of WD40 had a poke around etc, but can't see whats causing the problem. Anyone had similar problem? Managed to fix it?
Any help/info/tips gratefully received!
When in doubt hit it with a hammer, if that doesn't work then you need a bigger hammer 😮
I had to soak one of mine in proper penetrating oil stuff to release it. Since then, they are all doused in MucOff finest chain lube regularly. Keep at the little bugger...
Got the key in! And then, well, it snapped and it now stuck in the lock...
Pants.
Thule do sell all the parts individually.
Got the snapped key out and jammed a screwdriver in it and force opened it. I can confirm that the Thule locks are shit! Didn't take much pressure to turn it.
