Looking at a thule clipon 9102 or similar, would like one where the wheels sit in a channel. What other options are their? would a fiama t4 one fit? Want to leave it on - hence the clipon style, also makes them a bit more secure as no cloth straps to cut through

The clip ons are great, really secure but they don't fit every car
New car means mine no longer fits so I may be selling - Clip on high 9106, won't post, way to big and heavy but email if interested

I've got a Saris Bones RS 3 on my Berlingo, can open boot with it on.

The straps have got steel bands in them I think, certainly not just fabric.

If you're keeping the car a while, and have 3+ bikes get a towbar mounted one I got a bar fitted for £250 and a MaxxRaxx off the classifieds here for £100 (4 Bikes). Worth every penny.

The clip on range are great, solid and really fast to put on. However they don't do one with a channel for the wheels, you'll be wanting a towbar rack for that.

Do they even fit a Berlingo? I'd have a look at the compatibility bit of the Thule website before going any further.

Sorry Rob just realised I didn't get back to you, I've been unable to find the original straps so I suspect my clip on will be no good to you as I've modded it to fit my specific car
I'll really clean the garage out to look again this weekend. Price wise I was thinking around £75ish as they are bloody expensive new

OcRider - yes they do, several models http://www.ukbikestore.co.uk/product/333/th9107/thule-9107---clipon-high-rear-carrier.html

I stand corrected, Iain1775. They don't have them on the French thule website for some reason.
