Hi all,
Looking for a bike rack that can just stay on the car most of the time - like a fiamma rack on a t5. The Thule 973 looks to fit the bill. Any issues with it sticking up a bit into the wind when just driving about? Can you open the boot easily enough with a couple of bikes on it?
This is to fit an estate (not sure which yet, having a rack that can remain on there most of the time is deciding that or something the bikes can go inside easily like a berlingo), any other rack options? Don't want the added length of a tow bar rack when it's not in use.
Would rather the bikes outside to save mud getting in there. But only if I can not have the hassle of putting a rack on and off, and I can get into the boot with them on the rack.
