I have 1 foot for my roof bars that wont screw or unscrew. This is the model with the no tools gubbins, where the lock part pops out that you twist to tighten on or off when attaching the bars to the roof.

What happens is that the lock part pops out but whatever internals that grip the bolt (a plastic hex bolt socket?) slips meaning you cant turn it.

Looking online its a "buy 4 new feet for £80" solution, which is annoying as i only need 1, so id thought id check on here to see if anyone had had this problem, and a solution?

Cheers
Jon

Thulespareparts.co.uk have had all the wee bits I've needed inthe past for fixing roof carriers, and they seem to have bits for the 757
