Just tried out my bike on the Thule 561 and when attempting to tighten the fork using the 15mm thru axle from my wheel you can't actually turn it to tighten as the lever fouls the body of the rack.

Am I doing something silly?

Have had same with some 20mm.... you can offset the axle a bit to help

Not sure how I can do that.

Problem is compounded by the fact the lever on my axle is fixed, it doesn't fold like a 'normal' QR does.

What forks have you got? My Yari's go on fine and I can't visualise what would be fouling as whilst mine will fold, I don't have to, to get them to make a full rotation.

Just bog standard carbon forks on a cross bike

I've used it in the past - use the 9mm and then clamp this in.
