ok ..I've got 3 thudbusters and am aware bushings need lubing + eventually wear out , saddle rails can cause noise as can dry elastomers + of course a poor interface with the seat tube BUT ..I have a creak that keeps coming back on one of them and it's driving me nuts. I've identified it's related to the 6 screws that hold the "body" halves together as when I loosened them slightly the noise went . Anyhow..it then returned after a few miles so I greased the screws and retightened which once again worked for a while but not for long. I then completely disassembled the unit and greased all interfaces as well as thoroughly lubing the screws once again. All has been good until today when ..yes you've guessed ..it started again . I can't think of where to go now with it ...would a different grease/lubricant/product be better at dealing with this issue? Your advice would be much appreciated. many thanks
Bill
