I don't know if anyone else on here has ever experienced a similar thing, but recently I've been getting intermittent pulsing / throbbing sensation in what feels like the inside of the back of my right leg.

It can happen at any time, but not actually when I'm on the bike, moving about or lying down, generally when just sitting about or sat at my desk at work.

Any clues?

Any pain - possibly go get it checked out - might be nothing. I have a mate that had a 'clot' in his leg (cyclist) that shifted into his lung. He didn't do anything about it until too late. He was very poorly for a long time.

No pain at all, just as described above.

Any swelling or purple tinge to the skin? I'm with fossy, my missis had a DVT a few years ago because of an undiagnosed blood protein disorder. No serious developments for her thankfully, but not an MTFU situation.

I had similar last year. Physio's initially said I had a low grade calf strain (which is what it felt like originally), but then evolved to quite a weird sensation - throbbing/pulsing/slightly pulled calf and hamstring.

Had a MRI which ruled out DVT but did find a Bakers Cyst at the back of my knee. which has thankfully now disappeared/become asymptomatic
