I have some lightweight full finger Troy Lee gloves which I love for the summer and full insulated pearl izumis for winter, but looking for a pair of three season type gloves.  The Endura ones I currently have have worn through a bit too rapidly despite sturdy build, and held the water too much causing cold hands which is a shame as I have been a fan of them in the past.

Any thoughts - dont suffer from cold hands to much so not wanting insulated ones, rather reasonably robust ones for spring autumn riding

I really like my 100% Briskers for the cooler spring and autumn days, and I'll wear them down to low single digit temps in the winter. They do have padding on the back but it's not overly thick and the palms are nice and thin.

100% Brisker, they're comfy, warm enough down to a few degrees above freezing and still give excellent feel on the bars. They last pretty well too. I got 3 years out of my first pair before they disintegrated.

100% Brisker.. add silk liner gloves when it gets extra cold.

Softshell gloves FTW.

My favourite ones are a bit roomy rather than skin-tight, which seems to help with warmth. But I've got some tight ones which work well too.

Much more durable than trad MTB gloves IME, which tend to have tons of stitching waiting to come undone, and can go through on the palm disappointingly quickly.

I like the Defeet Dura gloves, regular ones are more durable than the merino ones. I carry a spare pair as they are stretchy enough you can double up if it gets a bit colder.

i have some scott minus gloves that are a thin leather palm, with a gore windstopper backing. they are good when its cold and dry, not so much in the wet. they are falling to pieces after about five years use.

I'll probably hang on to autumn now but the closest i've found are some of the gore infinium based gloves.

100% Brisker.
Simple, comfy, work well, good value and don't disintegrate after 5 minutes.
grand between about 5C & 10C for me.

I find Dafeet Dura great for dry days approx 3-12C, but in the wet, they act like sponges and make my hands feel colder in cool conditions. Thin enough to put under my lobster gloves on chilly days.

The Briskers look good.

I've been amazed at the 'warmth without bulk' of Galibier aredenne and they're even cheaper than the 100%. Genuinely good down to low single digits.

much above 5 degrees and I find on the MTB you can get away with just windproof - I've got some Fox that work well but don't seem to be current range.

Anyone mentioned 100% Brisker?

One of the best bits is the 1-piece palm with no stupid gel panels.

Another 100% brisker vote for mtb. I use these autumn / winter / spring pretty much for mtb. They aren’t warm enough for road winter cycling though - fingers get too cold. They need more insulation / wind proofing for that.

After a few pairs of endura gloves disintegrated I use 100% Cognitos for summer gloves now too. Bit of protection on the knuckles / fingers but still a thin palm for decent feeling through the bars.

Agree with scotabroad on availability. Where can you actually buy the Briskers in popular sizes?

I don't find the briskars much use if it's cold and wet. They hold water on to your hand and the wind chills everything down very effectively IME. I didn't find the galibiers warm at all. Spesh have made a few attempts at windproof gloves that have served me well but could do without the stupid pads they used to insist on putting on. Maybe they've changed now?

100% Briskers. Fantastic gloves. I wear them all year round unless the temps get below about 2-3 degrees. My first pair lasted for a couple of years riding 6-7 hours a week. No other glove has come close to being as comfy and hardwearing.

“ 100% Brisker.. add silk liner gloves when it gets extra cold.”

Can you fit the silk liners under the your normal size or do you have to size up?

Briskers are great until it’s wet - am wondering about using TX Direct on them because it works pretty well on other stuff.

As an alternative to the briskers, I love my Leatt 2.0 windblocks. Good down to low single digits, and I've even worn them whilst it's snowing without my fingers hurting (although I run hot). They seem to be out of stock most places but wiggle have a pair in large.

I bought some 100% Briskers last year and they’re great, but grip not so good if you get muddy palms, I find. I have a pair of Giro Blaze gloves which have been brilliant, but finally falling apart after several years regular use.
